Sports integrity body ULIS has published its latest report on suspicious betting and match-related activity, revealing a
sharp rise in potential match-fixing signals in January 2026.
According to the data, ULIS recorded 110 alerts during the month, marking an increase of
62 cases compared to December 2025 — a significant month-on-month escalation that highlights growing integrity risks across multiple regions and sports.

80% of all detected signals.
⏱ Timing of suspicious activity
- After matches concluded: 60 alerts
- During live play: 39 alerts
- Before kick-off: 11 alerts
The majority of irregular patterns were identified post-event, suggesting that abnormal betting behaviour or statistical anomalies often become clearer once final results are known.
