Liberia’s National Lottery Authority (NLA) has formally approved prediction markets under the
Liberian International Gaming License, marking what the regulator describes as the
first international gambling licence explicitly covering the prediction markets vertical.
According to the NLA, the updated framework allows licensed operators to offer prediction market services under a structure similar to offshore iGaming models, positioning Liberia as a new regulatory hub for this fast-growing segment.
