Spribe Secures Aviator Trademark Registration in Kenya

Spribe has obtained additional intellectual property rights for its game Aviator in Kenya, according to a report by The Gamblest.
The Aviator logo was officially registered in the country under the World Intellectual Property Organization's Madrid System, a process Spribe initiated on October 11, 2024. The registration grants the company formal legal trademark protection, allowing it to more effectively defend the brand amid Aviator's growing international popularity. Spribe stated that the registration strengthens the company's intellectual property rights and reinforces Aviator's position in the Kenyan market, where the game has been available since 2021.
The Kenyan registration follows a related legal development in which a Curaçao court annulled two Aviator trademark registrations filed by Aviator LLC, affirming Spribe's rights to the brand. Together, the two rulings point to Spribe actively consolidating its intellectual property position around the Aviator brand across multiple jurisdictions, likely in response to unauthorized use of the name and branding by unrelated parties in various markets where the game has gained significant traction.
