Cypriot game provider Swipe Games has developed a casino game format that lets players swipe through short videos similar to TikTok content and place bets on their outcomes, according to a report by SportClan.
Each game round lasts eight to ten seconds: the player sees a short video clip, has three to five seconds to select one of three possible outcomes, and then watches the clip continue to reveal the result. If a video does not interest the player, they can swipe up to skip immediately to the next one. In one example cited, a video showing a penalty kick lets players bet on a goal, a miss, or a save. Swipe Games founder Georgy Yashin said the concept originated following the 2022 World Cup. The company currently holds around 40 contracts and offers a portfolio of 10 games, with partners including BGaming, SoftSwiss, 1xBet, 01.tech, and Broadway. Swipe Games uses AI to produce its content, with a video library that has already grown to more than 20,000 clips.
Early results from the format appear promising: one operator reported average bets in the short-video games running 20 times higher than in crash-style games. Swipe Games has set a target of reaching €600 million in monthly betting volume, positioning the short-form video format as a potential new engagement driver within the broader casino content market.
