Stake Opens Engine Games to Third-Party Operators

Games previously exclusive to Stake through its Engine platform will now be available to third-party iGaming operators, co-founder Ed Craven announced.

Ed Craven, co-founder of crypto casino Stake, announced on his X profile that games previously developed on the Engine platform, formerly known as Stake Engine, and available exclusively on Stake's own product, will now become accessible for integration by third-party iGaming operators.

According to Craven, more than 4,000 games have been released on Engine over the past year by more than 1,000 developers, generating $24 billion in turnover and more than $90 million in payments to game studios. No further details regarding the specific timeline for third-party integration or which operators would gain access first were disclosed in the announcement.

The move marks a significant shift in strategy for Stake, opening what had been an exclusive content ecosystem to competing operators across the industry. Given the scale of turnover and developer participation already generated through Engine while limited to Stake alone, extending access to third-party operators could substantially expand the platform's reach and revenue potential as a broader content distribution layer for the wider crypto casino market.
