SiGMA World Summit comes to Rome from 2 to 5 November 2026 at Fiera Roma. This year the flagship gaming event shares the venue with three sister shows: AIBC for AI and emerging technology, FX World for trading and financial markets, and Affiliate Grand Slam (AGS) for performance marketing.
Each show keeps its own conference content and exhibition zone. The co-location is the real draw, though. An operator looking for a payments partner, an affiliate looking at fintech verticals, or a platform provider scouting AI suppliers can cover all of it in one trip, without moving between separate events.
Scale of the event
Organisers expect around 30,000 delegates and more than 1,200 sponsors and exhibitors across 100,000 sqm of Fiera Roma. The content programme runs on five stages with about 550 speakers. The schedule also includes four industry awards with charity auctions, three startup pitch competitions, and a networking calendar of dinners, tournaments and sporting events. The show floor includes VIP lounges, networking zones and chill-out areas.

Why Italy
The choice of Rome is a strategic one. SiGMA estimates Italy's total gambling revenue at €16 billion, with only about a quarter of it generated online. That makes Italy one of Europe's most significant markets still weighted towards land-based play. The online segment has been growing steadily: Statista projected annual growth of around 5.5% through 2029, taking the market to roughly €3.78 billion. The shift gives operators and suppliers a clear reason to be in the room.
The tech side of the event has a local story as well. Italy has been one of Europe's stronger performers in venture capital in recent years, and SiGMA puts the cumulative value of Italian startups at around $60 billion. Deep tech, including generative AI and space technology, leads the way. Programmes such as the Houses of Emerging Technologies have helped position Rome as a base for digital entrepreneurship, which fits the AIBC side of the event.
Venue and access
Fiera Roma, designed by architect Tommaso Valle, is one of Europe's largest exhibition centres. It has 10 pillar-free pavilions covering 150,000 sqm indoors, plus 40,000 sqm outdoors. Its conference centre has 13 meeting rooms seating up to 3,000, and the site holds up to 60,000 visitors and offers 7,000 parking spaces.
Getting there is easy. Fiumicino (FCO) is about eight minutes from the venue, and Ciampino is Rome's second airport. Regional trains from the Tuscolana, Tiburtina and Ostiense stations stop right at Fiera Roma. The city centre is about 30 minutes away by taxi.
