Pragmatic Play Adds New Features to Privé Blackjack
Michael Ashworth

Pragmatic Play has added two new mechanics, Face Down Double Down and Split After Split, to Privé Lounge Blackjack, part of its VIP single-player live casino lineup, the provider announced this week.
The Face Down Double Down mechanic allows players to double their bet while keeping the additional third card hidden until the dealer completes the hand. The Split After Split mechanic introduces the ability to re-split eligible hands following an initial split, letting players build up to four hands from a single starting position. According to Pragmatic Play, using the Split After Split feature raises the game's RTP to 99.51%.
The additions position Privé Lounge Blackjack as a more feature-rich offering within Pragmatic Play's premium live casino segment, targeting VIP players who favor higher-stakes, higher-variance gameplay. By combining an elevated RTP with expanded hand-building options, the update gives operators a differentiated product to offer high-value segments of their player base. The move reflects a broader trend among live casino providers toward layering optional mechanics onto established table game formats rather than launching entirely new titles, allowing faster rollout while still delivering measurable gameplay and payout differences for players.
