Karsten Lindqvist

Betway, operated by Super Group, released a promotional video featuring 27 sports and entertainment figures connected to the brand ahead of the Premier League season, led by former France international Thierry Henry. The video forms part of the global Betway Clubhouse campaign, which unites the operator's various sports partnerships under a single advertising initiative.
Alongside Henry, the video features footballers Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Erling Haaland (Manchester City), and Viktor Gyökeres (Arsenal), Formula 1 drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz, and former UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis. Additional participants include Manchester United's Kobbie Mainoo and Matheus Cunha, Manchester City's Antoine Semenyo and Matheus Nunes, Arsenal's David Raya and Noni Madueke, MLB player Vladimir Guerrero Jr., jockey Paul Townend, and members of South Africa's national rugby team. Betway stated the video was filmed without AI across ten locations worldwide, including London, Manchester, Nice, and Johannesburg.
Alongside the campaign, Betway is running a Clubhouse-branded offline event at sports bar Benchwarmers in Johannesburg's Rosebank district from August 19 to September 27, offering guests live sports viewing and interactive activations. The scale of the campaign, spanning football, motorsport, combat sports, baseball, and rugby, reflects Betway's strategy of leveraging cross-sport ambassador partnerships to maximize visibility around the Premier League season opener across multiple international markets simultaneously.
