Fast Track Launches True Value to Measure Player Economics Beyond GGR

The CRM provider says its new model separates underlying player value from short-term gambling outcomes by analysing RTP, volatility, stakes, behaviour and bonus mechanics.

Fast Track has integrated True Value into its iGaming CRM platform, giving operators a new way to measure the underlying economic value of player activity rather than relying solely on realised GGR.

The system analyses each completed gaming session and estimates what the activity would be worth to an operator if the same pattern of play were repeated at scale.

Its calculations incorporate factors including the RTP and volatility of individual games, stake sizes, the sequence of play and player behaviour. Bonus mechanics and wagering requirements can also be included.

The aim is to separate the economic value of the underlying activity from short-term outcomes caused by variance.

Only 2.9% of Sessions Closely Matched Underlying Value

Fast Track supported the launch with an analysis of 1.7 million gaming sessions across several brands.

According to the company, only 2.9% of individual sessions recorded GGR within 10% of the True Value calculated for the same activity.

The gap illustrates the limitations of evaluating a player from a small number of realised wins and losses. A player who records a large win can temporarily appear unprofitable despite producing valuable underlying activity, while a losing streak can make another player look more profitable than the mathematics of their play would suggest.

Fast Track's random-sampling analysis found that 250,000 sessions were required before nine out of 10 samples produced GGR within 10% of True Value.

The company argues that operators typically need to make decisions about individual players, bonuses and acquisition partners long before such volumes are available.

True Value Can Identify Overlooked High-Value Players

The model produces a continuously updated value for each player as additional sessions are completed.

Fast Track says this can help operators identify high-value customers who may be missed by segmentation based primarily on deposits or realised GGR.

In one deployment cited by the company, True Value identified several hundred players whose calculated value exceeded the operator's threshold for its high-value segment. Fewer than half had previously been classified in that group.

The tool can therefore be used alongside conventional CRM metrics when operators decide which customers to prioritise, how bonuses should be allocated and how VIP portfolios are structured.

Fast Track stresses that True Value is not intended to predict a player's entire future value from a single session. More activity produces a more developed player profile, while the initial calculation reflects the economic characteristics of play that has already taken place.

Model Could Also Change Affiliate and Bonus Evaluation

The same calculation can be applied beyond individual VIP management.

Realised GGR can make an affiliate cohort appear unusually valuable after a period of player losses or unusually weak after several large wins. True Value is designed to provide a separate measure of the activity underneath those results.

That could give operators another input when evaluating acquisition sources, bonus costs and different player segments.

The model also adds to Fast Track's broader shift toward automated CRM decision-making, where real-time player data is increasingly used to determine segmentation and engagement actions.

Player Data Remains a Key Infrastructure Question

Tools of this type require B2B platforms to process detailed information about gaming behaviour, transactions and customer activity.

That makes data governance an important part of the wider adoption of player-level analytics.

Fast Track experienced a cyberattack in 2025 that targeted two clients using its platform. Affected operators disclosed that customer information had been accessed, while Fast Track said the incident was contained.

The episode illustrates the wider security considerations created when operators connect player data to external CRM and analytics providers.

For True Value specifically, another limitation is the amount of methodology Fast Track has made public. The company disclosed the 1.7 million-session sample and headline findings, but has not published a full methodology, study period or complete list of participating brands.

The results therefore show how the model performed within Fast Track's dataset, but they cannot be treated as statistically representative of the entire iGaming market.
