Founder Felix Romer said remaining funds were moved to cold storage after the crypto casino discovered an unauthorized server connection.

Crypto casino Gamdom suspended operations on October 13, 2026, following a security breach that founder Felix Romer said cost the operator just over $3 million. The stolen assets came from its hot wallets, which hold cryptocurrency for routine transactions, including player withdrawals.
In an October 14 statement on X, Romer confirmed the loss and said the remaining hot-wallet funds had been transferred to cold storage. Cold wallets keep signing keys offline, reducing their exposure to compromised online systems.
Gamdom said it discovered an unauthorized connection while investigating a possible server disk failure. It then took its systems offline as a precaution and said user funds were safe, according to FairGambling’s account of the announcement.
FairGambling reported that Gamdom-linked wallets sent more than $2.3 million to five recipient addresses across Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Tron and the XRP Ledger within roughly an hour on October 13. At least four recipient addresses had no previous transaction history.
The publication traced about $1.2 million from three Gamdom Ethereum wallets to one address, which began exchanging USDT and USDC for DAI within minutes.
FairGambling reported that the conversion moved those holdings out of stablecoins with issuer-controlled freezing functions. That observation concerns the assets’ freeze controls; it does not establish whether the stolen funds can ultimately be recovered.
The initial $2.3 million transaction tally and Romer’s subsequent loss figure cover different stages of reporting. The earlier on-chain total should therefore not be presented as the operator’s final assessment.
Romer said on October 14 that Gamdom expected to resume operations within a couple of hours. That was a recovery estimate, rather than confirmation that service had been restored.
