The former Ferrari Formula 1 driver’s programme includes a Ferrari display, delegate meetings, padel and karting, with a separate book-signing appearance also announced.
Former Formula 1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella will attend SiGMA World in Rome on November 3, joining the gambling industry event for exhibition appearances and sporting activities.
The organiser’s October 19 announcement places the three-time Grand Prix winner at Fiera Roma, with a visit to the Italy Pavilion in Hall 5.
A Ferrari 296 racing car will be displayed nearby, where delegates will have opportunities to meet Fisichella and take photographs. His November 3 programme also includes padel and a karting experience.
Ferrari Display and Track Activities
SiGMA describes the exhibition vehicle as a Ferrari 296 GT Championship car. Its announcement schedules Fisichella’s pavilion visit for the afternoon, alongside activities elsewhere at the event.
The karting programme is expected to include driving, merchandise signing and photographs. The announcement does not provide precise start times or participation arrangements for each activity.
A book signing also forms part of Fisichella’s involvement. In a separate announcement published on October 20, SiGMA scheduled him to sign a copy of F1 Opus with founder Eman Pulis at the Italian Pavilion on November 2.
That signing is listed a day before the November 3 programme described in the earlier announcement. The book is connected to the event’s charity auction activities.
Career Spans Formula 1 and Endurance Racing
Fisichella competed in Formula 1 between 1996 and 2009, winning the Brazilian Grand Prix in 2003, the Australian Grand Prix in 2005 and the Malaysian Grand Prix in 2006.
He joined Ferrari for the final five races of the 2009 season, following a second-place finish for Force India at the Belgian Grand Prix.
His association with Ferrari continued in GT racing. He was part of the crews that won the GTE Pro class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012 and 2014, adding endurance racing success to his Formula 1 record.
SiGMA World Runs November 2-5
SiGMA World takes place at Fiera Roma from November 2 to 5, bringing together gambling operators, suppliers, affiliates, investors and technology businesses.
Organisers forecast more than 30,000 delegates and 1,200 sponsors and exhibitors, with five conference stages. These are projected event figures.
Fisichella’s appearances sit within the exhibition and networking programme, with the published announcements covering pavilion meetings, the book signing and sports activities across November 2 and 3.
