The gambling streamer has not broadcast since September 28, while conflicting claims about an arrest, a heart attack and an escape from Cypriot police remain without official confirmation.

Gambling streamer Andrey Burim, better known as Mellstroy, has been absent from livestreaming for more than two weeks amid conflicting and unverified reports about his whereabouts.
His latest recorded broadcast on Kick took place on September 28. Shortly afterwards, a short video appeared on his Telegram channel in which Burim said police had found him following a request from Kazakhstan and that he was hiding.
The video was subsequently deleted, and Burim has not made a verified public appearance or returned to streaming since.
Claims circulating since then range from deportation to Kazakhstan and hospitalisation after a heart attack to an alleged escape from police in Cyprus. None has been officially confirmed.
The clearest official information comes from Kazakhstan's Agency for Financial Monitoring, which opened an investigation into Burim and placed him on an international wanted list in 2025.
Kazakh authorities suspect him of organising a large-scale social media campaign promoting the Mellstroy.game online casino, including to users in Kazakhstan. A court also authorised detention as a preventive measure in the case.
After Burim's deleted video triggered reports that he had been arrested, the agency said on October 1 that it could not confirm his detention.
It stated that his formal status remained unchanged and that he was still internationally wanted.
That response also undermined early social media speculation that Burim had already been detained and deported to Kazakhstan.
There has been no publicly confirmed announcement from Kazakh authorities that he has been transferred into their custody.
A different explanation emerged on October 2 from blogger Subo.
During a livestream, Subo claimed that Burim had been released from custody and subsequently suffered a heart attack caused by severe stress.
According to that account, Mellstroy was receiving treatment in hospital.
No medical institution, law enforcement agency or representative of Burim publicly confirmed the reported heart attack.
The claim therefore remains a statement by another content creator rather than an established account of what happened.
It also conflicts with the Kazakh agency's position that it had no confirmation Burim had been detained in the first place.
Another version appeared several days later.
Streamer JesusAVGN said during a Kick broadcast that Burim had been at a strip club in Limassol when Cypriot police arrived for what he described as a routine inspection.
According to the story relayed by JesusAVGN, one of the officers recognised Mellstroy and connected him with an international search request.
Burim was allegedly taken outside toward a police vehicle but broke free and ran away before being placed inside.
JesusAVGN did not present the account as information he had witnessed personally, and its details have not been confirmed by Cypriot authorities.
If accurate, it could explain why Burim recorded the deleted video while apparently hiding shortly afterwards. There is currently no official evidence establishing that sequence of events.
The lack of confirmed information has fuelled speculation among Mellstroy's audience.
Fans have posted large numbers of comments under Interpol's TikTok content asking where the streamer is and demanding information about his status.
The campaign does not establish that Interpol detained Burim or is directly handling his case.
International wanted status can involve cooperation between national authorities through law enforcement channels without producing a publicly visible arrest announcement or public Red Notice.
Neither Interpol nor Cypriot police has publicly confirmed the versions circulating among streamers and social media accounts.
Public stream tracking records show Mellstroy's latest Kick broadcast began on September 28.
It followed several casino-focused broadcasts during the preceding days and attracted tens of thousands of concurrent viewers.
Since then, there has been no confirmed return to his regular streaming activity.
For the iGaming sector, the disappearance is particularly notable because Mellstroy has built a large audience around gambling streams and promotion of casino products, while the investigation in Kazakhstan itself concerns alleged promotion of an online casino.
For now, the confirmed facts are limited. Burim remains wanted by Kazakhstan, his last public stream dates to September 28, and Kazakh authorities have not confirmed his detention.
The arrest, hospitalisation and escape stories remain competing versions from social media and fellow streamers rather than verified explanations for his absence.
Greek online gambling GGR rose 18.7% to €647.2 million in the first half of 2026, contributing around €102 million of the market's €116 million overall increase.
Denmark's August gambling market was dragged lower by a sharp sports betting decline, while online casino GGR increased 12.5% and remained the largest liberalised segment.
The gambling streamer has not broadcast since September 28, while conflicting claims about an arrest, a heart attack and an escape from Cypriot police remain without official confirmation.
Authorities also requested the removal of 3,691 gambling-related social media pages, profiles and groups, including 1,027 Telegram communities with around 18.5 million members.
