Octoplay Launches in Alberta With Seven Operators
Game provider Octoplay entered Alberta's regulated market by launching simultaneously with seven major operators, its largest single-market debut to date.
Game provider Octoplay has begun supplying its casino games to operators in Alberta, according to a report by iGaming Future. On the day the regulated market opened, the company signed agreements with seven brands: BetMGM, FanDuel, DraftKings, Betty, Rush Street Interactive, PENN, and bet365.
This marks Octoplay's largest simultaneous launch in a new market, and Alberta becomes the company's 20th regulated jurisdiction worldwide. Octoplay received a conditional license in the province in June 2025. The provider had previously entered the Ontario market as well.
