Stake Reports 9.1B Casino Bets and Nearly 70M Sports Wagers in September

Stake says players placed more than 9.1 billion casino bets in September 2026, while sports betting generated almost 70 million wagers, with football the most popular sport.

Stake recorded more than 9.1 billion casino bets and almost 70 million sports wagers during September 2026, according to monthly statistics published by the operator.

Casino activity was dominated by slots and Stake Originals. Players placed 2.8 billion slot bets during the month, while Dice, one of Stake's proprietary Originals titles, generated 2.3 billion wagers.

The figures are operational data provided by Stake and have not been independently audited. Bet counts also do not indicate wagering turnover, GGR or operator profitability because individual stake sizes can vary substantially.

Slots Account for 2.8B Bets

Slots generated 2.8 billion bets during September, equivalent to roughly 31% of Stake's reported casino wager count.

Dice alone accounted for another 2.3 billion, or approximately one quarter of all casino bets.

The month's largest individual casino win was $30.05 million on Pragmatic Play's Sweet Bonanza 1000.

Stake also reported a $3.65 million wager on Privé Lounge Baccarat 6, another Pragmatic Play title, as the largest single casino bet during the month.

These figures describe individual events rather than typical player behaviour and should not be interpreted as representative bet or win sizes across the platform.

Valkyrie Leads New Game and Exclusive Rankings

Tome of Hercules from Valkyrie was Stake's most-played new release in September, generating 51,137,584 bets.

Arch Angel from Donut Gaming ranked second with more than 20 million wagers, followed by Pragmatic Play's Thunder vs Underworld 250 with more than 17 million.

Valkyrie also occupied the top two positions among games available exclusively on Stake.

Odin's Vault generated 130,814,634 bets, while Waylanders Forge recorded more than 73 million. That means Odin's Vault attracted close to 1.8 times as many wagers as the second-ranked title.

Pragmatic Play completed the top four exclusives with Big Bass Rock and Roll on 72,142,020 bets and Big Bass BOOM with more than 52 million.

The performance gives Valkyrie a prominent position in Stake's September content data, with the studio leading both the new-release ranking and the exclusive-game category.

Sports Betting Approaches 70M Wagers

Stake also reported nearly 70 million sports bets during September.

Football was the most frequently wagered sport, although the operator did not disclose a breakdown of bet counts or turnover by individual competition.

The largest reported sports payout came from a nine-leg accumulator covering football, baseball and American football.

The bet included selections from La Liga and the English Football League alongside baseball and NFL events, producing a payout of $2.25 million.

Stake did not disclose the original stake, combined odds or whether the figure represented gross or net winnings.

Bet Counts Show Scale, Not Revenue

Stake's September statistics provide a picture of activity across its casino and sportsbook but offer limited insight into the economics of that activity.

More than 9.1 billion casino bets indicate extremely high transaction frequency, particularly across fast-cycle products such as Originals and slots.

However, without data on average stake size, total wagering volume, payouts and GGR, the figures cannot be used to estimate revenue or compare the commercial performance of casino and sports betting.

The same limitation applies to individual game rankings. A title generating more bets does not necessarily produce more turnover or GGR than a lower-frequency game with larger average stakes.

Stake's September update is therefore most useful as an indicator of engagement and content popularity rather than financial performance.
