The chroma-key casino wheel uses AI camera tracking to synchronise digital graphics with physical movement, allowing studios to change branding and run multiple game-show formats on one setup.

Live streaming technology provider Vindral and casino equipment manufacturer Gaming Support have launched Green Wheel, a physical game-show wheel with a chroma-key surface designed for real-time digital overlays.
The companies say the product combines Gaming Support's certified casino hardware with Vindral's AI-powered camera tracking and streaming technology.
Instead of permanently applying graphics, branding or game segments to the physical wheel, studios can generate those elements digitally during the broadcast.
Vindral's cameras track the position and movement of Green Wheel in real time.
The system uses that information to keep digital graphics aligned with the physical wheel as it rotates, allowing visual elements to move together with the hardware rather than remaining as a static video overlay.
The chroma-key surface functions in a similar way to a green screen. The physical wheel provides the underlying game equipment, while the visible design can be replaced digitally in the live stream.
This allows studios to change branding, colours, segments and other visual elements without physically rebuilding or replacing the wheel.
The companies position flexibility as one of the main use cases for the technology.
A live casino studio could use the same physical Green Wheel for several differently branded games or game shows by changing the digital presentation between broadcasts.
Operators could also customise the appearance for individual brands or markets while retaining the same underlying equipment.
That potentially reduces the amount of dedicated physical hardware required when studios want to run multiple variations of a wheel-based product.
The concept could also shorten the process of changing themes or launching branded versions because a significant part of the presentation is handled through software rather than permanent physical graphics.
Vindral and Gaming Support describe Green Wheel as the first product of its type built on GLI-certified wheel hardware.
Gaming Laboratories International certification is used across the gambling industry to verify gaming equipment against relevant technical standards.
The certification claim relates to the underlying equipment rather than every possible digital design or game configuration that could be displayed through the chroma-key system.
For live casino suppliers, the product illustrates how physical gaming equipment and software-based production are increasingly being combined.
Instead of treating a wheel as a fixed visual asset, Green Wheel separates the certified physical component from much of the presentation layer. This gives studios greater control over how the same equipment appears across different games, brands and broadcasts.
