ToonieBet Becomes Exclusive Sportsbook Partner of CFL's Ottawa REDBLACKS
The Soft2Bet-owned operator's logo will appear on all three of the club's jerseys and TD Place stadium screens under an undisclosed multi-year deal.
ToonieBet, the Canadian iGaming brand operated by Soft2Bet, has become the exclusive sportsbook partner of Ottawa REDBLACKS, a team in the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Under the agreement, ToonieBet's logo will appear on all three of the club's jerseys, as well as on television broadcasts and LED panels at Ottawa's TD Place stadium. The operator has also become sponsor of the venue's pitchside Sideline Club section.
Partnership Includes Fan Events With RNation Supporters Group
ToonieBet will host three pre-match street parties for fans in collaboration with RNation, the REDBLACKS' official fan club. The financial terms and length of the deal were not disclosed.
The partnership adds to a growing list of Canadian sports sponsorships for gambling operators since Ontario opened its regulated online betting market in 2022, with CFL clubs increasingly securing sportsbook sponsors as the league seeks new revenue streams.
